A staggering number of species have vanished or are on the brink of extinction in 2019. Recent reports reveal that over 40 amphibian species, approximately 33 reef-forming corals, and more than one-third of mollusk species are either extinct or likely to be extinct.
Unprecedented Extinction Rates
